Firstly, we do not know what will happen with rec softball in 2021, but we want to be prepared to safely play. So registration is open and there is no payment needed until we know there will be a season. So, register to show your interest and support for PGSA Rec Softball. After the first of the year, we will send out an invoice (again, assuming we know we can play).

Fees will remain unchanged again this year. As you know we are a volunteer-run organization and these fees pay for the cost of fields, umpires, equipment, uniforms, and other activities related to running a league.

Fees for 2021 (again, you do not have to pay anything to register)

$160.00 with a $20 per sibling discount
$20 late fee after January 1st, 2021
$50 late fee after January 31st, 2021

So register today and tell your friends and let’s all hope for 2021 filled with softball.

hi there, I’d love to find out what to expect schedule wise. How may practices/games per week? From which month to which month? My daughter is 6 so I haven’t done this before!! Thank you!

Jen, sorry for the tardy reply.
A typical season starts with practice in February. During this time each manager has two practice time slots one during the week and one on the weekend. The season starts in March and runs through May. Typically there are two games a week and the option for one practice if fields are available and the managers want to hold one. Typically only the older girls have a practice (Minors and maybe Rookies) as those leagues are more competitive. Once you get on a team we use TeamSnap to manage all the games and managers have access to use TeamSnap to communicate to the team, schedule practices, etc. We try and make it as easy as we can as we typically all have busy schedules.

This year we obviously have to wait and see if there will be a season (we are hopeful) and when it might be able to start. We will communicate on this site, our Facebook page, and through email to all those registered.

I hope this answers your questions. It is a ton of fun and not a lot of pressure.
