Dear PGSA Players & Families:

We hope that this communication finds you healthy and safe during these uneasy times.

After a promising start to the season, regrettably, the 2020 PGSA softball season has been officially canceled. The PGSA board has been meeting regularly during this crisis and reviewing a variety of possible contingency plans. However, with varying degrees of COVID-19 Social Distancing Policies in place through April (as a best case scenario), it would be virtually impossible to squeeze in the season with such a limited window of time.

So, you may be wondering about player fee refunds? The PGSA board decision was made to provide you with one of two options:

1) Requesting a refund of the pro rata share of your player fees or

2) You choose to make a tax deductible donation of the pro rata share of player fees to Petaluma Girls Softball Association.  The pro rata share of $100/Single Player and $85/Sibling Players, takes into consideration the original player fees, less the expenses incurred – mainly uniform cost and player registration/insurance through USA Softball.

If you choose to request a refund

Follow the steps outlined in this link….bit.ly/2020PGSAREFUND

If you choose to make a tax deductible donation

You do not need to take any further action and you can keep this email as proof of your donation. Your donation will go towards the 2020/2021 budget for field renovations, upgrades and the PGSA Scholarship Fund offered through the Petaluma Education Foundation.
